Krabi Info Group runs this website as a comparison and booking referral service for car hire around Krabi. We publish live availability and pricing gathered from rental suppliers operating on the mainland here, and we pass a completed enquiry through to the supplier a visitor selects. Reading past this point means a visitor accepts the terms below for using the site itself, separate from whatever contract they later sign with a supplier.

What this site is, and is not

This is a referral and comparison platform. Krabi Info Group does not own, maintain or dispatch any of the vehicles shown, and we are not a rental company under Thai law. Every hire is a contract directly between the visitor and the supplier whose car they choose, and that supplier's own rental agreement, insurance terms and conditions of use govern the actual hire once it starts.

Eligibility and licence rules

Thailand drives on the left, and every driver collecting a car through a listing on this site needs a valid home driving licence plus an International Driving Permit issued before travel; police checkpoints on Highway 4 and around Krabi do check for both documents together. Minimum driver age, any young-driver surcharge and required deposit method are set individually by each supplier and shown at the point of booking, not by us.

Prices, currency and availability

Figures on this site are shown in euro for ease of comparison, are supplied to us by our booking partner and can move between the moment a visitor sees a listing and the moment they confirm a reservation. A quoted rate is not locked until the supplier's own checkout confirms it. Fuel, parking and toll charges on the ground in Thailand are settled directly in Thai baht and are outside anything shown here.

We never state a deposit figure on this site. Where a listing is marked "No Deposit available", that reflects an offer from the supplier at the time of publishing, and the exact hold amount, if any, is confirmed by the supplier during booking.

Accuracy of listings

We work to keep vehicle classes, mileage terms and feature lists current, but stock on the Krabi board turns over daily and an individual car pictured may already be booked by the time a visitor reaches the supplier's own page. We are not liable for a mismatch between a listing here and what the supplier ultimately confirms; the supplier's confirmation email is the binding record of what was actually reserved.

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation windows, refund eligibility and any administrative fee are set entirely by the supplier a visitor books with, and a request to change or cancel a reservation has to go through that supplier's own channel, not to Krabi Info Group. We can point a visitor to the right contact but we do not hold funds, issue refunds or adjudicate a dispute between a renter and a supplier.

Liability

To the extent Thai and applicable EU consumer law allow, Krabi Info Group excludes liability for loss arising from the rental itself, including vehicle condition, roadside incidents, delayed pickup or a supplier's cancellation policy. Our role stops at presenting accurate comparison information and passing an enquiry along; the hire contract, its insurance cover and its excess terms sit entirely with the supplier named on the confirmation.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, photography and code that make up this site belong to Krabi Info Group or are licensed to us, and none of it may be copied, scraped or republished on another site without written permission. Supplier logos and vehicle photography remain the property of their respective owners.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection a visitor is entitled to under the law of their own country of residence. Any dispute about the operation of this website, as opposed to the hire contract itself, falls under the courts with jurisdiction over Krabi Info Group.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page as the site, its suppliers or the law change, and the version live on the site at the time a visitor uses it is the one that applies. We do not notify visitors individually when the wording changes.
